Embracing the Little Moments 🌿

Life isn’t always about the big milestones — the graduations, the promotions, or the travels. Sometimes, it’s the little moments that shape who we are and remind us of what truly matters.

This morning, as I sipped my coffee, I noticed how the light poured through the window just right, touching the plants on my desk. It was such a simple sight, yet it filled me with calm. I realized that I often rush through my days, chasing deadlines and distractions, and forget to pause and breathe in these quiet gifts.

Lately, I’ve been trying to appreciate the “ordinary.” A walk around the neighborhood, the sound of rain against the glass, the laughter of a loved one over a silly joke — these are not small things at all. They are pieces of life that make everything feel whole.

I think when we start noticing and celebrating the little things, life feels less overwhelming and more meaningful. After all, happiness isn’t just waiting at the finish line — it’s sprinkled along the path, hidden in the everyday moments we sometimes overlook. 🌸

So today, I’m reminding myself (and you, if you’re reading this): slow down, look around, and let life surprise you with its quiet beauty.

when the dog bites
when the bee stings
when i'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favourite things
and then I don't feel so bad . .
